On October 5, 2017, Women United announced our 2017 Human Services Grant Award recipients at our annual luncheon. Due to the unprecedented growth of our membership over the past year, we were able to increase our giving from the intended $50,000 to a whopping $60,000, which meant an additional grant for the non-profit that received the third most votes in our member voting process.

African American Teaching Fellows and The Women's Initiative each received $25,000. Georgia's Healing House received our third "bonus grant" in the amount of $10,000. Each of these organizations does amazing work helping women and children in our community. To learn more, we encourage you to visit their websites using the links above.
